Just knock the guts out of your stock downpipe and take them to a recycler. 100% as effective as an aftermarket downpipe and you actually get paid for it.
Actually the stock exhaust is made from HIGHER quality stainless than most aftermarkets which use whatever cheap chinese stock they can get. BMW doesn't want to have to replace your exhaust.
