I don't have personal experience with wheel reconditioning, but a very knowledgeable Porsche collector friend of mine does it with almost all of his cars. Go to a reputable shop and pay for it to be done right. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results.

Cheers thanks mate - I'm looking into a reputable shop now - it's the only thing wrong with this car so I'd like to get her perfect. Did my first drive through the twisty mountain roads outside Sydney this past weekend - what and absolute treat!!
