Nice one, but having just installed a wired reversing camera you forgot to mention how painful it is to route the wiring from the camera to the reverse light for power.
If you want a neater alternative for the screen, you can get rear view mirrors with screens built in (that's what I'm using).
I have the idrive but no idea how to connect the camera to it.
