Well I put a new belt on but have not driven the car yet. Started it up and everything is fine but it was like that last time also..... I cleaned all of the pulleys and after letting the car run for about 10 minutes, I found a rubbery greasy like substanence that I could rub off on the pulleys. I'm worried that this is melted belt, maybe a top layer of it or something. I'm scared to drive the car in case the belt shreds and melts the pulleys again.
