Not really much to say, lol. I finally got a 4-post lift for the garage, and am now able to do things I'd never attempt on my back. While waiting for the coolant to drain, I started cleaning this and that. 20 hrs later...
A tip you won't hear many people talk about
: Boeshield T9 (developed by Boeing to preserve aircraft parts while in storage) works great on all the aluminum bits you see pictured. I've found it keeps aluminum and zinc oxidation in check as long as it doesn't get washed off. I've been using it on my 1M for nearly 9 years, applied with 1 in foam brushes.
The car has always been my baby. I'm the original owner, and it will hopefully stay in the family forever.
