Only if VERY aggressive camber settings (i.e. aftermarket camber plates, control arms completely maxed out) are used. Toe is what kills tires on most if not all street cars. To put it in perspective, with the camber pin removed on stock front suspension, you are going to get maybe -1* of front camber. In order to have true
camber wear on the tires, you would need -3* or more. Also, any sort of aggressive driving will ride the outside edges of the tire, so some amount of negative camber is actually beneficial for tire wear. I can personally attest to running -2.5* front camber w/ 1/8th" total toe out on my previous car for daily driving/autoX/track days, and I always had excellent tire wear.
