It does increase in speed/frequency as the RPMs increase until about 3k then it stops (or at least is completely droned out by engine noise). You have to listen closely in the video, it's an audible ticking noise as the throttle is pressed, almost sounds like something rubbing up against a bicycle spoke.
EDIT: You can hear it pretty clearly at the 3 second mark of the video where I accelerate slightly.
