I wouldn't trust a light application of the handbrake to hold a 3300lbs car on any sort of incline.

I am pretty sure. I did contemplate that the first time it had happen. The second time I am very sure that it was almost all the way to the top because I pulled it some more and I had left 2 clicks before it could not go up any further.
