Buying and selling used cars definitely ain't for everyone. Selling privately will probably get you a better price than trading in at the dealer. They (the dealer) are in it to buy low and sell high. Getting a PPI before you buy gives one a little better confidence in what your getting. If your not comfortable by yourself, how about going with someone you know that's in the car business and just shop around?
