Playing gentleman racer at Lime Rock or Watkins Glen is a far cry from the 24 Hours of Le Mans at night. I don't think it was malicious, either. It was incompetence. He wandered across the lanes on one of the fastest sections of the track with a prototype (which was flashing its lights like crazy) bearing down on him. He's obviously far out of his depth, but fortunately it didn't cost Mike Rockenfeller's life for him to have hopefully realized that. Nobody who is anything less than a full time, professional race car driver has any business being in that race.
