I specifically told them I wanted the SIB 12-15-14 and he wrote it down on the order sheet to be installed. When I picked my car up he said I got the most up to date DME - even more recent than the SIB 12-15-14, according them. On my receipt it says:
"Found DME to have update available. Completed update to most current software at this time. Data status (l - level) e89x-015-03-501 MR." - not really sure what all that techno-babble means but my throttle lag is totally gone. I can now drive with confidence!
FYI: I got this installed by my local independent shop that specializes in German cars not a BMW dealership.
