I have this as well, and mine is pehaps worse than the one pictured in the OP. I noticed it when my car hade
under 2000 miles and is an 09'. I am waiting for a BMW rep to look at it. Perhaps the dash materials (Interior materials in general) used to save money on this vehicle are sub par for a BMW as some have noted in articles I have read.
There is no way this is an acceptable condition. Please post details of any dealer fix, also provide the dealer name and location.
