I would prefer to have more than I need. So I would say my goal is to keep oil temp in check for full sessions at an HPDE or half mile event. Having said that, I would like to start with a single cooler set up first. I only go to the track maybe twice a year. One half mile and one hpde.
I was good temp wise at the last half mile event running three or four back to back runs in 95 degree weather at 18psi to redline. I would attribute that to the csf radiator which seems to have helped a lot. I still don’t think I can get through a full hpde session at a stock boost in warmish weather though.
