The Dinan cooler is taller and sits lower than the OEM unit so I opened up the fender liner to aid the air flow. I didn't cut it all out as I wanted to retain some extra support for the liner but that's probably not necessary as the screen adds some stiffness. The cooler extends above the existing vent too but not as much as below and I didn't think it was worth cutting.
