Can't answer that question. But I can say that I have not had an issue yet without a parking brake. At first it was weird. My car has the step trans. Most other cars I have are manual trans so I naturally use the parking brake. I'm still sort of concerned when I park on an incline, but so far no issues.

So I wouldn't worry except the fact that the manuals still roll while in gear and parked...
Almost tempted to just bring a tire chalk with me haha!
