A regular 245 is no problem. But this was specifically about hoosier R7 245's. A 225 hoosier is about an 1/8th of an inch narrower than a 255 "street" tire. (RE71, RS4, etc.) A 245 hoosier is at LEAST a 265 street tire, more in the range a 270. on a 9 inch wheel, a Hoosier 245 will not fit in there without rolling, front or rear, on my car. I have tried.

Edit: I had a picture of a mounted set of 255 Hankooks stacked next to a mounted set of 225 hoosiers. There was less than a 1/2 inch difference in the entire set. Wish I could find it...Also, same width roughly as 255 toyo RR's.
