I am surprised that reporters/fans don't have a bigger problem w/ BMW not including the LSD as standard equipment. Before reading these forums I had been taking it for granted because my 3 previous cars (Camaro Z28, Silverado, Volvo S40) had the LSD standard (Volvo is AWD, so not technically LSD). Sounds like it is a pretty important piece of the "Ultimate Driving Machine."
