It seemed to me that around 2500 the turbos kick in noticeably. The car did not seem to be down on power or anything but it was not a smooth build up of power as the revs rose. Is this normal? Or does it need tuning?

Please forgive my ignorance but I've not driven a lot of 6 cylinder turbos. I was expecting a power deliver similar to a normally aspirated engine?
