Then you are limited to 235/40/17 all round.
I believe you can run as high as ET 47 all round with 17 x 8s, if that is correct, you have the ability to pick up some used E36, E46, E90, Z3 and some Z4 wheels even (if you find 17x8s ET 47s).
But 245 are going to be pushing it (IMO) on 8" wide wheels, some people get away with it, and it probably depends on the tire brand.
