I know this may not be what you want to hear, but I'd focus first on the model decision, then figure out the financial aspects and feasibility. If you really want one model over the other, but you make your decision based primarily on the numbers, you might kick yourself for a long while.
Aside from the drivetrain difference, a 128i and 135i can be nearly identically configured, so I think you should ask yourself (and be honest):
Do you feel like you desire more power most of the time or just once in a while?
Do you pay attention to the engine characteristics (naturally aspirated vs. turbo) and care how they affect your driving style, or is that not important to you?
Would you mind adding a little weight to the car to gain more power?
