For the non-electronic, the difficulty level is 3 out of 10 for someone who works on cars but not on a technician level. The electronic wheel is 6 out of 10 IMO
Disconnect battery
You pop your airbag out by poking two holes in the back of your steering wheel where the airbag clips in.
Remove the airbag, unplugging all of the electronic controls for steering wheel functions & airbag control
Use (I can't remember what size - huge anyway) a socket to undo the steering wheel from the column
Use a torx screw driver to remove steering wheel buttons and trim
Install new wheel by repeating steps backwards
