Thanks. The price wasn't much different than buying direct from retailers and it said new so I didn't give it another thought. If there was a big difference it would have been a flag something wasn't right. I just did Amazon because it was easy. I hope he likes it. But I'm guessing you may be right about the seconds or QA.
