You can also order a mini spare from
TireRack.com I also remember some forum members saying the Mitsubishi Galant mini spare fits on a 135i. Just make sure its a 17" wheel.
My alloy mini spare(in that link I posted above) was a German only part. The reason is while BMW NA will sell you the alloy wheel, the tire has no DOT rating - so its not allowed to sell it in the USA. But you can order a spare tire "kit" for the old X5 or e60 5er.... and that mini spare tire would also work! I think the kit also comes with a jack.
