Like you I've been waiting since my e36M and e46M to get that feeling back and sadly it's not there anymore. I got happy when I drove the m2C but quickly felt like a female when I was laughed at getting out of the car by some friends of mine! (I'm 6'6" and the shit doesn't work). Oh well the ultimate driving machine is gone....
Which American SUV is better to drive than a comparable Bimmer? I'll be the first to complain on this forum about how watered down BMW's steering has gotten, but there is literally nothing from the Big 3 that's as good as the likes of the X3, X5, etc. And no the plasticky 10 yr old Trackhawk that goes fast in a straight line isn't it.
