All you guys who think this car doesn't have any power in first gear are confused. The engine produces the same amount of power no matter what gear you're in. The lower gear ratios produce more power/torque to the rear wheels, so there is always more power in first gear than any other. If the car isn't accellerating it's because one of two things is happening:

A) The tires are spinning
B) The tires started to spin and the traction/stability control has stepped in and cut the throttle

The one's who are spinning the tires well into second gear (and some of you in third), you're either on winter tires, or it's time for a new set. I'm on all seasons right now, running catless DPs and a JB3 and have no problem with the car spinning in second gear when it's not freezing cold outside.
