I agree fog lights are not an issue for other drivers - except possibly the appearance. I also think it looks stupid to have them on when it is not foggy. I drive a e88, n52 which has them. I like the fact that you have to turn them on each time you start up for them to be on. I use them if it is foggy but not otherwise. My old SUV was prone to frying headlight bulbs and I would use it's fog lights if I had a burned out bulb until I put in a new one. But generally the fogs were not on in that vehicle either.

While I think a pickup or SUV with it's fog lights on when it isn't foggy, is stupid that is not a big deal to me. There are lots of other things that people do with their cars that I think are stupid too. But it is their vehicle.
