So what's your solution NFIDDY? He grins and bears it? He has every reason to take the stance he has been.

By this point there should have been a refund or SOMETHING to make things right. The entire situation is a mess. As a previous poster said, the true test of the company is not selling something in stock, but handling the situations that become a mess.
