My bother has a Subaru Crosstrek with the CVT ($1000 option). We can use that for the donor. Sure, it sounds like a Kitchenaid mixer stirring up hamster pancake batter, but just think no DCT lag and no leg cramps from being in 405 traffic at 5pm. Oh and it does have paddle shifters for those who want to hit them and wait 20 seconds for the engine to max rev.
