Late 30's racing made (and should still inspire) the core of BMW's DNA. Inline-6 engine, beautiful lightweight bodies that look like nothing else but a BMW, and total racing domination (for its class). Now, transpose this to today's context and... Not long ago in the 70's with the 3.0 CSL and 80's withe the E30 M3 (ok it was not an inline-6), BMW still had it. Today I'm afraid for the brand...
