Nothing beat the all around livability of the PS2s though. The grip of the star specs is nice, but they are a bit harsh on a daily basis.

Do you have 17" or 18" snows?
Michelin Alpin PA4 snows were co-developed with Porsche and are in a whole different league than the already exceptional PA3 snows. Sadly they only come in 18"+ sizings.
