True a short person would have to raise the seat but the power seat gives the choice to go lower. I'm fairly average 5"10 and power seats feel high to me. I think most people that try them side by side appreciate the ability to go lower if you wish. The are also faster to move forward and back if you have kids like me. But yes it might not make a difference for shorter people.
