nachob - I haven't been to the station yet, but I did use sta-bil last time and my engine seemed fine. I had been using seafoam previously and I did get the very odd idle (and someone else has reported a mis-fire) so I think i'll stick with the sta-bil.

I'll check out what the listed octane rating is just because I'm curious.

It seems my problems always stem from my gas tank! I'm on my third DMTL pump in 2,000 miles (or less) and the last time I was at the dealer they mentioned replacing the fuel tank which can cause an issue with the DMTL/charcoal canister. Then i suspect my old gas to have caused the odd idle too. I apparently deleted the video from youtube, but the car would just rev up and down by itself - coming close to stalling, then hitting 1k, then back to almost stalling. Dealer did replace the injectors under the warranty extension, and immediately following i added seafoam and put it in storage. no notable issues since then....besides the beloved dmtl.
