The price would probably come in more than the 335i. Now, how would they make an NA engine in M trim fit in between 300hp bi turbo and 414 V8? Would it have 330 like the E46 straight 6? Theres no way it would get a V8, and probably wouldnt even fit. So you go slightly above the boosted motor with an NA trim. That would have to be close to the 330-360. With that power to weight, it might be quicker than the E92 M3. I dont think BMW would do that. No M motor has come from the factory boosted, so your probably right its got to be NA. Even then, turn up the boost on the N52 and youve got yourself 400hp, so youd have a 135i thats faster than the M1 and probably a lot cheaper.
they should have just called the 135i the M1 and made it NA.
