I agree most people feel like manual is faster but very few (about 8% according to road and track) can hit the published 0to60 times for manual where as the auto takes no efforet to match times for any normal driver.
Also after owning a manual 05 Sti with an exedy clutch I will never drive stick again especially in Nyc
