i disagree, the next generation 1 series would be enough to keep enough people interested. Throw a new body style, 30 more hp, dual clutch gearbox, a few other goodies, and people who still can handle a smaller car will go for it.
hey, i want to see an m1, but if the new style was a 145i, alot of people would transition to that.
my last car was an e92. I don't think traditional logic comes into play with a niche car such as the 1 series.
