Cost was about 5k AUD for the rear exhaust. The button isn't really so far out of reach. A simple lean forward is sufficient. Several reasons though: discreet (so cops can't see it); ease of installation (it's wired in, not wireless, and to get access to the centre tunnel would have been too difficult); and the part it's installed on is a cheap plastic bit so that if for some reason you wanted to revert to stock, the plastic can be replaced.
