So it’s been a few years and i thought I’d just update on this topic. I have a RHD 1M and recently replaced my old turbos. I discovered the MMP turbo inlet pipe was torn and was directly in contact with the gearbox - I might’ve finally solved the issue of the intermittent rattle when gears engaged.
Have come to the sad conclusion that the inlet pipe upgrades are easier for LHD cars and have decided to swap back to stock. Also don’t really notice any difference in torque and acceleration - maybe sound is a little lesser but nothing too great.
