Hole in Oil Pan ? New Motor?
Hi Everyone
I have a 2011 135! coupe, i store it in the winter, and have contacted bmw on storage tips.
I was driving my car home one day and it went into limp more and once I got home all the oil blew out of it, I was close to home when it happened.
I looked underneath and there is hole the size of a dime.
I live in a city without a BMW dealership, I called my BMW dealer which is 8 hrs away, and they basically told me there is nothing they can do.
The frustrating thing is these cars are made to be quality made and I now have a car that i love with a hole in the oil pan.
Has anyone had this happen to them? Sounds like bmw will not help with this financially taking on some of the cost.
What are my options? do i buy a new motor? do I buy a used motor?
Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated.
