How to install JB+ on a 135i without removing the stock air box!!!
Don't even try this if you have massive forearm, ask your girlfriend to do it.
Tools:
8mm ratchet wrench
Flash light
USB cable
Skinny arm
Remove the two 8mm nuts securing this fluid reservoir
Lift the fluid reservoir and bracket out of the way to expose enough space to reach the TMAP sensor
DO NOT attempt to do this while the engine is HOT or you'll burn yourself!!!
Reach down with your hand and get a feel of where the TMAP sensor is (If this space is too small for you to work with then you're better off removing the stock air box). Be very careful not to break the plastic clip securing the stock harness onto the TMAP sensor. Gently slide in the USB to undo the plastic clip and pull out the stock harness at the same time (Hint: under and up reach around method). Connect JB+ and enjoy!!!
