Agreed. I drive 50mi each way to the office and a lot of it is rural highway. Miles between exits, or through downtown. Either place is a lousy place to get a flat tire.
Here is a picture of what I did. I am using one of my winter tires. I bought the jack set off eBay from a five series for $80. Of course the day after I bought it one that was listed for $99 went on a flash sale for $65. Oh well. This one has the tow hook, a different one had the wheel chock. I didn't see any with both. I wasn't looking that hard.
