Winter tire/wheel setup
The summer setup for my 08 328i e/w Sport Package is:
BMW Style 263 18 inch rims with Bridgestone Potenza Re050A runflats
215/40R18 front
245/35R18 rear
And here what I just purchased to run in the winter:
BMW Style 256 17 inch rims with Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 runflats
205/50R17 front and rear
Now you have to keep in mind that I live in Vancouver BC and we (usually) do not get much in the way of snow and I never take the car out onto the mountain roads. Just need something to get me around town when we do get the odd bit on snow.
I have included a picture which shows the summer wheels on the rear and the winter wheels on the front for comparison purposes.
