Change of plans for now, looks like I'm keeping the 1er.
I had it listed as a feeler at $15,900 in November/December-ish and had quite a bit of interest. I removed a lot of the mods (headlights, tail lights, exhaust) as most people didn't want to pay extra for them. It's been up at $13,750 for since January and is still in my driveway.
I've sold a dozen or so cars privately over the years and have never had so much interest in a car without someone turning up to look at it. I keep getting these long winded emails about how they like the car and it's what they want etc... but no follow through. I did have a deposit from someone out of state, but it fell through.
Is my price unrealistic? I have it priced pretty much at my bottom line of what I think the car is worth. If I can't sell it for close to $14k, I feel like it's worth keeping to split nice weather mileage with my E91.
