It would be a battle probably not worth fighting with the dealer.
I contacted BMW head office directly about an issue with my soft top (tear near C pillar) and they said there are no outstanding recalls on my VIN.

The car is 11 years old despite the low KMs, so I figured it's part of buying used.
I bought it through a private sale and when I looked into buying 3rd party warranty, it only applies for cars less than 10 years old.



You know the ironic thing about today's incident? I was out to have a drive and give it an Italian tune up! Well it certainly hit all the extreme temperatures for that!
