What's the big deal? Seems like BMW just ran a more aggressive software tune ala something similar to a JB4 map. The question is, will it still pick up 80 rwhp from an aftermarket tune? Probably not if the engine is still the same N54. If it can pickup an extra 80-100 rwhp (like the 135i) without blowing to pieces from a reflash then I'll be very impressed.
What impresses me most about this car is not the power which can be achieved for 400 bucks in aftermarket parts but the wider chassis, suspension, M3 diff etc.
