I've emailed to ask for a 17" 1er specific fitment and the response I got said their solution, although not ideal offsets, is the 17x8.5 +40 ARC-8. I guess since they have something that is "close enough" and they know how to make them work, they probably won't make one specific for us unfortunately.
If they made a 1er fitment 17" EC-7 I'd buy them in a heartbeat.
The trend with wheels seems to be 18"+ sizing is the most popular so I'm afraid we're the minority.
