I've clarified this with Akrapovic directly. Without the wireless kit, the system will effectively be "muted" as the block off plate will be retained. Alternatively - I'm sure one can just modify the exhaust to simply remove the block off plate completely without the need for the wireless kit ... we just need to get our hands on one of these systems, once they arrive in the US.
