Read the other thread. There are several "NOW that's a 'real' M car!" and most coming from 135 owners not M3 owners. Kinda like this comment in this thread:

I'm not sure I would trade the 1M engine for the S65. I lived with both the S54 and S65 for 3yrs each. The 1M has crazy power.

Do I think this conversion is kick ass? Yes I do! Would I have still bought the 1M if it had the S65? Of course. But I don't feel cheated in any way with what the M Group has done with the N54.
