Why do BMW recommend the 17" if it doesn't fit (there already being an 18" spacesaver in production)?
It would be really nice if someone has a 1M and the 17" alloy to find out for sure if it fits front and rear.
I'm not sure the rear wheels would actually fit on the front without rubbing issues in an emergency (if the alloy 17" was fitted to the rear, and the rear wheel temporarily fitted to the front)
