The car was about 4 seconds off of the pace 2 years ago. Massive rebuild of the car with what is allowed under street class rules. Tons of testing.
2017 was almost a triple crown year that lead to a lot of overdog talk but the m2 and the caymon are probably faster cars for the class but fastest car does not always win.
