Funny you should mention the loose connections. I had issues with my e88 a few months after I bought it last year, the speakers kept cutting out and like you I noticed changes after hitting a bump in the road. Took the head unit out and to my surprise, one of the connections was loose and not seated correctly. I simply removed and reseated the connection and no more issues. No telling what caused that...
